Industry talk series

About the talk series:

NCL-Technology and Entrepreneurship Club (NCL-TEC) along with Venture Center has come up with a lecture series where experts from industry will elaborate on the research and development programs and job portfolios for PhD scholars. These talks are designed for bilateral benefits:

For students – Keep pace with industrial research, helping PhD scholars to make an informed decision and a smooth transition to an industrial setting
For industry experts – Acquaint with the current research in NCL and get introduced to the talent pool with skill sets in-line with current/upcoming projects.

To achieve these objectives, experts from various industries are invited for talks. The talk includes:

• Brief overview of the company
• Overview of current research of the company
• Typical roles for PhD level positions
• Question and answer session

In turn the speakers are presented with:

• A brief guided tour of the institution
• Small talks by students explaining their research pursuits
• Brochure of student profiles along with skill sets and research interests, acting as ready reckoner for future hiring process
